Control Panel contains many tools for the system value adjustment.It is a crucial component in windows XP.It is very imporatant to see that any person with no computer skills may operate ur system and change the settings in the control panel which may cause malfunction in ur system.So to disable the others to access control panel.. follow the steps..

- Go to run and type gpedit.msc and press enter.

- Now Windows bring you to the Group Policy page. Click on Administrative Templates which is in the left hand of the Goup Policy page.

- Double click on the Control Panel folder which is in the right hand of the page.


- Double click on the message “Prohibit access to the Control Panel”.

- Now it appears Prohibit access to the Control Panel Properties window. Click on setting tab then choose Enabled.

- Click Apply and Ok button.

To access the control panel again..follow the steps above but select “Not Configured” instead of ”Enabled”.
